[It took Arthur awhile to fully recover from the Hellmarch event. Although physical wounds can heal, the emotional damage from the humiliation took much more time. Mainly for his courage to venture off anywhere again, but soon enough he did regain the courage he needed to carry on. And he knew he couldn't stay at Fluttershy's forever, as much as she welcomed his presence he didn't want to overstay.

Although just for the sake of gratitude Arthur requested Fluttershy come with him back up the beanstalk. So he can see if he can find or make something up there to repay for her kindness. He walked with Fluttershy hand in hand toward where the Beanstalk was safely hidden from any human eye.

Looking back at her as they ventured toward the stalk he gave a soft smile.]

Thanks for accompanying me, after spending so much time with you guys it felt kinda weird if I went off by myself without at least inviting you over for a little while I settle back in.

Hopefully the cloud creatures haven't missed me too much.

Knowing them though they probably are okay, I mean I have that whole garden they can graze on.

[He gave a snort.]

You know I should put up a fence, but they're so cute!

[Chuckles as he began to fiddle with his emerald as he took his turn to step away from Fluttershy so he grow back to his giant form.]

[She giggles softly.] I know how that can be.

[Boy does she.]

[Growing all the way back up to his gigantic height. He kneeled down as held out his hand for Fluttershy.]

Ready for the ride in my pocket up the beanstalk then?

[With a nod, she stepped onto his hand, steadying herself as he lifted her up before slipping into his pocket.]

All set...

[Arthur set her carefully into his pocket all secure and set with a smile. As he began to climb back up the beanstalk. It was a nice sunshine day, not too hot, not too cool. Just perfect for the climb.

As soon as Arthur picked his head through the clouds, he gave out a soft sigh.]

Well... Home sweet home.

[Gives a chuckle as he climbed all the way back up lifting himself onto the cloud's soft ground as he made his way toward the winding road to the castle.]

I hope flowers didn't over grow the...

...

[Arthur grew quiet as he paused in his step. There was something very different from where he last left his home. And that was the very large pile of human sized letters and drawings by his doorstep. What in the world is all this?

He stood there speechless, almost afraid to approach it.]

[When he suddenly fell silent, Fluttershy peeked out from his pocket, looking up at him curiously.]

What is it, Arthur...?

Th-There's... A pile of letters on my doorstep.

[Arthur carefully walked over as kneeled down. Picking up a couple of papers and little hearts with his big hand. Bringing them closer as he adjusted his glasses. Then he took soft inhale of breath. A lot of these drawings were of him, or at least they kinda looked like him. They were very childish scribbles, along with written words like "love you" or "thank you", misspelled or not.]

Wh-Who...

[Arthur dropped the drawings as he began to open the letters one by one with his fingers which were beginning to tremble. As he tried to read them.]

D-Dear Arthur, What they did to you wasn't fair. You were so kind to me that night when I kept having bad dreams about my mommy passing. Please feel better...

[A warmth began to flush his cheeks as he read the next one.]

Dear Arthur, I cried when I saw you on TV, because it hurt me to see someone who can give away good dreams...

[His eyes began to glaze over as he read the next one.]

Dear Arthur, I attached a dreamcatcher for you because I didn't want you to have nightmares either, I-I...

[He began to shake now with a tear coming down his cheek.]

I love you, thank you...

[Trembling as he tried to read the other one.]

D-Dear Arthur I hope y-you're not...

[His voice cracked as he tried to read but couldn't.]

You're not alone an-anymore...

[He covered his mouth as he dropped that last one back into the pile, as the tears began to flow freely onto the ground.]

[Fluttershy smiled warmly as she read the letters, feeling a few tears form in her own eyes. Slipping out of his pocket, she flew up, gently stroking the side of his head.]

Th-They're...the children...the ones you help...aren't they...?

[hisheadintheclouds]

[Arthur nodded, as his breathing halted for a moment. Unable to speak for the moment he was full of tears. As he tried wiping away of them, before he looked back at the pile. He was still quivering.]

They... All are...

[He took some of the letters as he began to carry them to his chest and hold them there as he continued to let the tears fall down as he hugged the thank you letters.]

[She smiled, her heart filling with happiness for him, now that he could see how much he was appreciated and cared for by others.

Even when some of the world had tried to hurt him, there were still so many others that supported him.]

[Arthur stayed like that for a while as he hugged the letters. Soon enough he knew he had to let go as he slowly let them fall back into the pile, as he rubbed his eyes.]

H-How-W-Why would they...

[He sniffed as he rubbed his nose.]

Th-There's so many of these I...

That's because you helped so many of them, Arthur...Not just by giving them good dreams, but helping them feel safe and cared for during times of trouble...

So now...they wanted to do the same for you...

B-But they...

[Arthur's hands trembled as he held his hands as he carried these letters close to him.]

Th-This is too much, I-I surely don't...

[Placing down his hand, as he lifted the other to rubs his eyes.]

I-I didn't expect anything i-in return, I just didn't want to see them suffer.

I know...and I'm sure they know it too...

But even if you never expected anything for it...They want you to know how much they appreciate all that you do for them...

Because they know...you do so much...

[Looking down for a moment, he closed his eyes, as another tear rolled down or two. As he tried breath softly.]

I... I never realized th-that I ever could...

For so many... O-Of...

Do... Do you think I-I really d-deserve all this?

[She smiles, flying down a bit to brush away a tear.]

Of course you do...you help so many others, Arthur...now it's our turn to help you...

[Arthur leaned into her touch as she brushed away the tear as he shivered slightly. Before opening his tear filled eyes at Fluttershy, cheeks still warmth from happiness he felt inside as he softly smiled at her.

He reached up as he gently cupped his hands around Fluttershy to gently bring her close to him in a gentle warm hug.]

Thank you...

[She smiles, gently returning the hug as best as she could.]

[Arthur softly snuggled with her, before he rubbed his eyes again trying to get rid of the tears. As he took a breath.]

I-I need to like... Put these all a scrapbook.

They all deserved to be looked at again and again.

[He looked down with a little smile.]

Would you like to help me with that sometime?

[Fluttershy nodded.]

Mm...I'd love to...

[Gives one last snuggle before he gently puts her back in his pocket.]

F-For now I should get a box for these.

[His tearful smile still on his face as he looked at the pile.]

So many... There's so many-I-I said that a lot, I know but...

[She smiles up at him.]

You never really realize how many people you can touch, huh...?

[Arthur gave a little bit of laughter as he shook his head.]

N-No I, I never imagine it'd be this many, e-ever.

[Gives a sniffle as he rubbed his eyes.]

Alright, lets go inside and get a box. A-And some tissues, and a pot of tea, and maybe more tissues.

[She giggles softly, nodding as she helped him gather them up.]

[As they finished gathering up the letters and drawings into a box. Arthur came back with a pot of tea for them as he poured a nice little cup for her and a giant size one for himself.]

Speaking of thank you gifts, I oughta get you something from this castle here to show my gratitude for you letting me stay at your place for a while.
