[It took Arthur awhile to fully recover from the Hellmarch event. Although physical wounds can heal, the emotional damage from the humiliation took much more time. Mainly for his courage to venture off anywhere again, but soon enough he did regain the courage he needed to carry on. And he knew he couldn't stay at Fluttershy's forever, as much as she welcomed his presence he didn't want to overstay.

Although just for the sake of gratitude Arthur requested Fluttershy come with him back up the beanstalk. So he can see if he can find or make something up there to repay for her kindness. He walked with Fluttershy hand in hand toward where the Beanstalk was safely hidden from any human eye.

Looking back at her as they ventured toward the stalk he gave a soft smile.]

Thanks for accompanying me, after spending so much time with you guys it felt kinda weird if I went off by myself without at least inviting you over for a little while I settle back in.

[He stared at the door for a moment as his eyes darted.]

Door... Door don't do that-BAD DOOR.

Wind-I-It's probably wind, l-let's not let our imaginations g-g-get away with our selves.

A-Alright, upseey daisy the steps.

[Climbs up the steps as each step made a loud creek.]

I-It just needs some repairs i-is all haha.

[Looks down at Fluttershy, clearly nervous.]

Y-You alright sweetie?

[Hesitantly she peeked out again, glancing up with a nod.]

M-Mm...I-I'm okay...

[Arthur gave a smile in return. Well at least he's not alone. He's got his little gal with him after all. Reaching the top he opened the dark door to the attic.

It was a large desolate room. Webs and dust decorated the area. Everything was covered in sheets and the only light that came out was a small window.

Arthur looked around as he breathed, taking the courage to pull away one of the sheets before he winced. Looking down. There he found some old items. They looked like wedding items. He was quiet as he lifted a painted portrait of his parents, before setting it back down and picking up some of jewelry was left on the table.]

Well...

This place can't possibly be haunted.

After all it has good memories in here for my family.

[Watching him for a moment, she then looked back to the portrait of his parents.]

What were they like...?

[Arthur smiled.]

They were really kind, patient, and incredibly smart. Like they knew all sorts of things about the world. My mom was really sweet and always thought the best of others. My dad was nice too, but he was always.

[Points as he gave a strict face as he made a grumpy voice.]

"Don't let others take advantage of your kindness Arthur!

Just because we are gentle giants, doesn't mean we're push overs!"

[Chuckles.]

Stuff like that. I might have gotten in trouble with him a lot cause I liked feeding the cloud animals food that I didn't like eating, like broccoli.

[She giggles softly.] They sound like wonderful parents...

[He gave a soft sigh with a smile as he leaned his hand against his cheek.]

Yea... I miss them...

[Looking back around as he went over to pull away one of the other blankets. Revealing a couple of boxes. He looked at the description.]

Christmas Tree... Christmas Ornaments-!

Hey Fluttershy I think I'm starting to find some of our holiday stuff!

Oh really...? That's great...!

[He couldn't help it, he opened up the ornaments box. As he gave soft gasp at all the pretty ornaments. Beautiful bulbs, intricate little statues, and tiny snow globes. And in the center an Angel holding a star.]

... Wow. That sure takes me back.

[Slipping out of his pocket, she flew up to get a better look into the box.]

What does...?

The Christmas Tree ornaments... after my parents put up the tree with them on.

I used to go under the tree and look up everything.

[Arthur breathed as he gave a wistful expression.]

It was beautiful.

[Looks down at Fluttershy.]

Have you ever tried that?

[She shook her head.] No, I haven't...

[Arthur smiled.]

When Christmas time comes around I'll make sure to do that with you.

It'll be like looking up at the stars, except in a tree.

Oh my...that sounds really pretty...

[Nodding, as he closed the box.]

It is, quite peaceful too.

[He stood up as he chuckled as he began to pull away some of the other curtains.]

Gosh you know it would be like for you since our tree is pretty big for you in comparison. Like the Nutcracker, do you know that tale?

Mm...I've heard of it, but I don't know much about it.

[She smiled up at him.]

Will you tell it to me...?

[Arthur smiled as he looked around in the boxes.]

Sure! Let me see if I can demonstrate this to you.

[Taking out some stuff, he took out a nutcracker doll, then a little ballerina ornament, and a mouse ornament. As he began to take the toys one by one as began the story.]

So there's the little girl, Clara. She was given a Nutcracker doll by her Uncle Drosselmeyer. And she loved it so much she wanted it to be real. That Christmas night, she fell asleep playing with her toy. And like magic, everything grew. The toys, the house, the tree, everything! She shrunk to the same size as her beloved Nutcracker.

But this evil Mouse King was like Oooooo no, HOW DARE YOU, I AM KING! And was being really rude as evil monarchy do, but Clara's Nutcracker came to life and protected her from the nasty Mouse King. But it wasn't enough, so Clara threw her shoe at the mouse. ANNND I guess he didn't like foot apparel cause that defeated him.

Anyway! So the Nutcracker and Clara got together. And they fell in love and went off to his magical toy kingdom! And yea it's uh, it's a cute story.

[She couldn't help gigging softly.] That does sound like a cute story.

Though I'm surprised it was that easy to stop the Mouse King...

[Arthur chuckled as he put away the toys.]

Yea I'm kinda surprised myself, but I DO believe that's how the story went. My mom had this storybook of Christmas stories she'd read to me every year and that was one of them.

But you know, I guess being defeated by a tiny shoe is better than being defeated by a sword or something more deadly. Maybe he just thought it was a rude gesture and was like OKAY FINE.

[Pretends to slugs off.]

I SEE HOW IT IS.

MICE HATERS.

[Giggles down at her.]

[She laughed at that.]

I suppose...It'd be nice if things were always that easy.

Yea, I guess that's why they're children's stories.

Christmas stories in particular are pretty soft told.

Not that I mind at all though.

[She nods.] Mm...Christmas stories are some of my favorite...

I always liked the Grinch.

That grumpy guy turned out to be so adorable in the end.
