Sometimes We Need Reminders of How Much We Are Loved
WHO: Arthur and Fluttershy
WHERE: Arthur's Castle in the Sky from the Beanstalk
WHEN: Fall
OPEN/CLOSED: Closed
PROSE OR BRACKETS: Brackets
WARNINGS: The children of Birchepoint made Arthur cry happy tears
[It took Arthur awhile to fully recover from the Hellmarch event. Although physical wounds can heal, the emotional damage from the humiliation took much more time. Mainly for his courage to venture off anywhere again, but soon enough he did regain the courage he needed to carry on. And he knew he couldn't stay at Fluttershy's forever, as much as she welcomed his presence he didn't want to overstay.
Although just for the sake of gratitude Arthur requested Fluttershy come with him back up the beanstalk. So he can see if he can find or make something up there to repay for her kindness. He walked with Fluttershy hand in hand toward where the Beanstalk was safely hidden from any human eye.
Looking back at her as they ventured toward the stalk he gave a soft smile.]
Thanks for accompanying me, after spending so much time with you guys it felt kinda weird if I went off by myself without at least inviting you over for a little while I settle back in.

I did have to wear a cover over my wings, though...

[Arthur made an oh okay as he took out his hand from his mouth. Giggling as looked back down at her.]
Well if you dress up as a ghost you won't have to cover your wings.
All you'd have to do is probably put make up on, look all white and spooky.
no subject
I'm not sure if I can really look too spooky.
no subject
That's alright, you can be a friendly ghost!
And I'll be like, hey! Don't mess with this one, she's sweet, kind, and adorable!
No touchy mm-mm.
no subject
That...might be fun...

[Arthur smiled as he placed her back in his pocket.]
We'll give it a think.
For now, let's go ahead and get this autumn stuff downstairs.
Might as well prepare as best as we can.
[Gives a hum.]
I'll have to see if I can get pumpkin too, I don't think I've ever carved a Jack O Lantern before yet.

[Arthur smiled as he rubbed the back of his neck.]
I think I might have been too young to use the knife to carve the pumpkins when we used to do that.
[Before messy with his floofy hair and then picking up the box to carry downstairs.]
We got a couple growing in the garden.
I'm not sure how big they've gotten by now, hopefully big enough.

Yea usually around this time they're okay.
I think I'm mainly thinking this cause I haven't been up here in a while to check on my fruits and veggies.
[Shrugs.]
I'm sure they're okay, the weather has been pretty regular from what I observed.

[As Arthur made his way through the castle. He placed the autumn supplies box down in the living room, before going out to kitchen storage and outside. Looking around as he placed his hand over his eyes. The garden seemed to be okay.
Although a couple of the fruits and vegetables seemed to have been munched on.]
... Hrn boy, those animals sure did miss me.
no subject
Mm...I'm sure they did...

[Gives a chuckle.]
Oh well, let's check on those pumpkins huh?
[Come over to the squash section. He gently kneeled down and saw the pumpkins indeed have grown just fine. Arthur held out his hand for Fluttershy to hop onto so she can see them, these pumpkins were so much bigger than her.]
They look alright to me, what do you think?
no subject
Mm...it seems to be growing fine...
no subject
Hm, yet, they seem to be alright.
[Gives a grin to her.]
So, imagine all the pumpkin things we're gonna get from this.
Pumpkin pie, pumpkin seeds, do you like those?

I oughta make you some of the pumpkin cookies.
Those are my favorite kind.

Oh! You haven't, oh gosh. That's a really good recipe!
[Looks up in thought.]
I think that's one of the ones that's been in the family for a long time.
[Grins down at her.]
They're soft, but oh gosh they are a delight.

[Arthur smiled as he pushed away all the vines as he wrapped his arms around the pumpkin.]
Wanna ride in my pocket or the giant squash?

[Arthur grinned down at her as he carefully picked up the pumpkin from the patch and carried it inside. He placed it on the table. Gives a playful gasp.]
It's the Great Pumpkin! We have graced the Great Pumpkin in our presence!
Now we will blessed with the magic of All Hallows Eves with all the spookies!
